There have been times when we have struggled However, I believe this is only a set of challenges we will need to overcome in order to succeed During my childhood, I used to catch fish and sell seafood on the island of Siargao island. I was inspired to help my mother by selling fish. Early in the morning, I wake up to sell the fish, and by seven a.m., I can leave for school But I used to be bullied by my classmates when they saw me selling fish However, I didn't mind because I was proud to sell fish because that's how we survived Helping my parents is one of my favorite things to do sometimes I come to catch fish or collect seafood. It was my father who taught me how to survive in the sea and showed me how to do so I never thought I'd come to Australia That is when my life began in Australia. My husband is employed as a fruit picker in Australia.He picks fruit of different varieties, such as oranges, apples, and cherries. As I looked at the tree of apples in front of me, I was amazed at what I was seeing. I rarely purchase fruit here in the Philippines, but now I am harvesting them and eating them for free We do not have a house. We live in a caravan. It was the first time I have lived in a vehicle Due to the fact that we travel a lot, we do not have a permanent address, and we call ourselves NPA no permanent address Unfortunately, I can't help while we're sleeping. I was worried someone could hit our caravan or that it could have some bad people around. As a result of living in the caravan for many years, I have come to realize that Australia is an extremely safe country. In the past few years, my husband and I have been harvesting fruit and we have travelled extensively. We pick fruit from different states in Australia because every fruit we pick has a different season and month Even though we do not have a permanent address, we live in peace. As a small family, we are happy to be together regardless of the circumstances There are certain aspects of living abroad that are not like fairytales. While you may be able to live better here, one thing is for sure you must work hard to make it happen. I have learned so many things,I have come from the sea to the land in my life. You need to be tough to survive in the world, it does not matter where you come from. Many people ask why people change when they go abroad, and I would reply, "Yes that's true" because I have experienced so many changes in my life that I have become more practical. Because living abroad is not as easy as you thought and other people will never understand because they have not had the opportunity to experience what life abroad is like. Change happens because people take responsibility for themselves, not because others do it for them When you give them what they want and take that responsibility, it will continue because they expect it Upon arriving in Australia, I had no knowledge of riding a bike, but the owner of the farm showed me how to drive a tractor for three minutes and then left me. As I am about to cry or laugh, I glance around and see a few girls driving tractors, and I think if they can do it, so can I In my opinion, when it comes to a job, it is not all about whether you are a female or male, but about knowing how to work hard We moved to the Philippines after living in Australia for 5 years. I'm catching fish and seafood like I used to it's great. I've shown my husband how to do it and we sell the fish cheap to the locals Now that we have returned to Australia, we are very happy that we are able to rent a house One day, we hope to be able to show you that we are capable of buying or owning a home.
